WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THEIR CELL PHONE GETTING THEIR ATTENTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU ?
Your cell phone keeps you connected to work, friends, and family wherever you are, but excessive use can damage your relationships. Many people ignore the people they’re with to attend to the virtual world. This habit creates real consequences, including different ways cell phones are ruining relationships and destroying your marriage. Some call it Phubbing which means remaining engaged with the phone rather than interacting with the person you are with. This is a habit of compulsive use of cell phones to such an extent that cell phones are ruining relationships and could be detrimental not only to real-life relationships but also the daily activities, in general.
Using too many phones and ignoring the one we are with often harms the relationship, unless this occurs occasionally due to an important mail, message, or call. When this becomes a pattern,...

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS AND
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT SOMEBODY?
Definition of Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the ability for somebody to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overwhelmed or reacting inappropriately, by what’s going on around us. It suggests that the mind is fully attending to what’s happening, to what you’re doing, to the space you’re moving through. That might seem boring and basic; however, the annoying fact is that we are so often distracted from the matter at hand. Our mind takes flight, we lose touch with our body, and before you know it, you’re engaged in obsessive thoughts about something that happened in the past or fretting about the future. And that makes us anxious, stressed, and depressed. Mindfulness is an effective way to learn how to relax by becoming more aware and...
Hi, how are you? I’m fine and you? I’m fine. This is a typical script for many workmates. It always reminds me of Junior High French class. Comment Ca Va? Ça va bien, et vous? The question is should you form a friendship with your co-workers or is it best to keep it to professional relationships only?
For sure, if you only engage in benign subjects that are superficial in matter you will not foster any real friendships or bond with others at work ordinarily. However, people who have a “best friend” at work are more likely to be happier and healthier; they are also seven times more likely to be engaged in their job. It has been shown that employees who report having friends at work have higher levels of productivity, retention, and job satisfaction than those who don’t.
According to Pew and the American Life project, only 12% of Americans' closest ties are with work colleagues. 19% said that they had...

A secret stash is three to a half year of everyday costs put away if there should be an occurrence of a surprising life occasion, like business end, sickness, or home upkeep cost.

If you make changes to one of the four basic pillars of your being it will improve all of them. The four pillars of any person are Health, Relationships, Finances and Mindfulness. I base this entire premise on Maslow Hierarchy of Needs which states that you first must have your physiological needs met then your basic security needs after that you need relationships then your self-esteem and you will next reach self-actualization.
The pillars that I refer to are based on these because I define Health as your physiological needs, Financial covers your need to feel secure. Relationships are just that the relationships you have whether it is with a Spouse or lover or a family member, a work colleague, or some other acquaintance. I couple Self Esteem and Self Actualization together as mindfulness. Therefore, for clarity, I agree with Maslow, however, I label it a little different because it is easier to comprehend what I am referring...
